▪️｜酒店前身是16世纪帕帕多波利宫，为大运河八大纪念宫殿之一，2013年由Jean-Michel Gathy操刀焕新开业。

▪️｜The hotel was originally the 16th-century Papadopoulos Palace, one of the eight monumental palaces along the Grand Canal. It was renovated and reopened in 2013 by Jean-Michel Gathy.

作为业主，族萨沃伊阿奥斯塔伯爵夫人和阿里瓦贝纳伯爵是这座建筑的主人，现今全家人依然住在酒店顶层。

As the owners, Countess Savoy Aosta and Count Ariwabena are the proprietors of this building, and the whole family still lives on the top floor of the hotel.

▪️｜The hotel has only 24 guest rooms and suites, all independently designed, with 11 different room types to choose from. To be honest, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of options while researching. Apparently, Bezos stayed in the Alcoratipolo Suite for his wedding.

▪️｜The hotel features 3 specialty restaurants, 1 bar, and a private banquet hall. Actually, the only restaurants open are Arva and the bar.

▪️｜The hotel does not have a swimming pool, but it is equipped with a gym and a spa.

▪️｜JMG的设计从来没有让我失望，即便到了威尼斯，这里的设计仍然是修旧如旧，大多数的设计都用在了软装的搭配方面，整体的动线都相当的舒服，由于宫殿地基受长时间水泡所以地板是各种不同程度的变形，JMG在此用了大面积的地毯充当遮羞布。在色彩搭配方面更是低调的以黑色及卡其色作为主色，少量镜面作为点缀。

▪️｜Public Areas

▪️｜JMG's designs have never disappointed me. Even in Venice, the design maintains the original state of the area, with most of the design focused on the soft furnishings. The overall flow of movement is quite comfortable. Due to prolonged water damage to the palace foundation, the floors are deformed to varying degrees, and JMG used large carpets as a cover-up. The color scheme is understated, using black and khaki as the main colors, with a few mirrored accents.
